Role Description
Our Medical Concierges serve as the primary point of contact for patients and act as a bridge between patients and medical providers. Working closely with the care team, they help ensure each patient receives timely, compassionate, and high-quality service. This role supports administrative and virtual coordination needs, helping patients navigate appointments, communication, and next steps in their care to ensure a smooth and positive experience.
** Shifts Available, assigned based on business need: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 10 AM - 6 PM, 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM, or 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (ET)
Core Responsibilities
- Greet and assist patients in a friendly, professional, and timely manner through phone, messaging, and virtual platforms.
- Register new patients and update existing patient information in electronic health record (Athena), including demographics and insurance details.
- Verify insurance coverage prior to appointments to ensure accurate billing.
- Schedule, reschedule, and confirm virtual patient appointments, including helping coordinate urgent visits when needed.
- Send appointment reminders and follow up with patients regarding upcoming visits.
- Answer incoming calls and electronic messages promptly and route messages to the appropriate team member.
- Process referrals and provide patients with clear instructions about next steps.
- Respond to referral requests from other providers in a timely and professional manner.
- Explain basic information about services, billing policies, and what Dimer offers.
- Assist patients with technical issues and help them successfully connect to video visits.
- Support providers and the clinical team with administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support patient care and team success.
Qualifications
- 1-2 years in any clinical environment, preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent, required
- Fluency in Spanish, preferred
- Must be able to work Eastern Time shift hours
- Must be able to work from a private, secure environment that maintains full HIPAA compliance at all times

- Must be flexible with different shifts and weekend coverage.
- At least two weekend days per month are required, and holiday availability for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year is mandatory.

Pay: $25.00 per hour
