Practice Operations Manager
Lead the day-to-day “front office” operations of Dimer Health's virtual practice, managing a remote Medical Concierge team that schedules, prepares, and supports patients after hospital discharge, and building the processes that keep it running smoothly.
About the Role
As Practice Operations Manager, you will make sure Dimer Health's virtual practice runs smoothly every day. You will lead our Medical Concierge team who are a patient's first point of contact after a hospital stay. You will report to the Director of Practice Operations and work closely with our providers and clinical team.
In your first six months, you will learn every Medical Concierge workflow hands-on, take ownership of the monthly schedule and team check-ins, and become the team's go-to resource. Over your first year, you will roll out new and automated workflows and build a dependable training path for new hires. Success means referrals entered accurately and on time, daily tasks completed correctly, every shift covered, and a team that feels supported.
What You'll Do
In this role you will own the day-to-day running of our virtual practice:
- Daily operations – Make sure the practice runs smoothly and that all daily tasks are completed on time and correctly.
- Referral oversight – Check that every referral is received as expected and entered correctly, and fix gaps quickly.
- Hands-on coverage – Work one to two Medical Concierge shifts each week to stay close to patients and the team's work.
- Process automation – Develop processes that automate and streamline our workflows with clinical and technical partners.
- Workflow rollout – Deploy new workflows to the team and make sure they are adopted consistently.
- Extended availability – Be available some evenings and weekends to support our 24/7 care model.
You will also lead and develop the Medical Concierge team:
- Scheduling – Build the team's monthly schedule across day, evening, overnight and weekend shifts.
- Monthly 1:1s – Hold a check-in with each team member every month to give feedback and support their growth.
- Team support – Be the go-to resource for questions, guidance and escalations throughout the day.
- Onboarding and training – Orient and train new staff so they are confident in every role and workflow.
- Accountability – Ensure work is accurate, documented and completed on time across every shift.
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary for this role is $66,000 – $74,000 per year. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills and relevant training. This is a full-time, exempt position. It is fully remote, with occasional travel to our office in Northern New Jersey and some evening and weekend availability required.
As an eligible employee, you will receive paid time off and a Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA). Through the HRA, Dimer Health reimburses eligible medical, dental and vision expenses, including an individual plan bought through a state Health Insurance Marketplace, up to an annual limit. You will also receive basic life insurance, with premiums paid in full by Dimer Health.
